I think diagbox 9.xx does not make alot of changes to configurations. Mostly you request telecoding from factory.

I looked and searched but there is no crossreffering software or cookbook, all I can say best is you stick to bosch numbering system.

I still not tried using Ktag clone, but I hear from few people it works no problem, but is combined to solder all connections. different soldering for reading and writing. Must be really careful not to mistaken pins.

Can you explain what does KTAG do to eprom of DCM 3.7 AP? Can this ECU be safely read and back written with clone KESS v2 if KTAG is a no go?

have you resolved your problem? I cant download file but can be wrong ECT sensor calibration data or bad tune.

for Kess clone always good voltage (13,5+V) and stable software ksuite makes wonders.

You need to reconfigure with Planet ECU to know it works with automatic gearbox, possible BSI also (not sure for that part). and to your question "is it worth changing the software in the engine to the native one (from the automatic transmission)?" I think it is good idea if reconfiguring dont work.

be carefull on other forums people write about port opening and making traffic possible spying on users.. and you need internet connection to be active for it to work.
