I have FMPC001 and i cannot get it to code KVM module using IDS. I have PreFL Mondeo Mk4, but have a FL KVM unit - which works in the car, but this generates 1040 outcode and not 0040 like prefl. i have tried firmware v1.7-v.15 and it fails to detect on old mondeo option, and on new mondeo option it hangs reporting error of old (PreFL) BCM module found. Can Anyone Help? I cannot code new module to car

I have VCX Nano and have used for several Mondeo Mk4 successfully to install new ABS module, update software, and coding keys. have also used on 2013 fiesta with great success. I would only recommend you make sure you have battery support, IDS can hang half way through coding if voltage drops below 11.6v leaving dead module!

This sounds like a bad connection of hairline track fracture. try to disassemble and inspect board and contacts
