J2534 cable for Honda HDS

There are lots of different J2534 cables, some are for Toyota TIS, some are labelled for Honda HDS. But as a J2534 standard cable, are they actually the same hardware, which should also support both diagnostic system, I mean TIS and HDS?

Between these J2534 cables there is a difference: for HDS, this J2534 adapter has different hardware.

if the adapter fully supports the j2534 standard, it will work with both Toyota TIS and HDS. For Example Scanmatik 2

both programs work well for me with this cable TIS and HDS.

J2534 cables are not intended for OEM diagnostic, only for reprogramming software, special manufacturer function mostly are not supported(Honda scs).
